This is a little early for this thread but who in your mind is the favorite going into the 2009 season?

 

I will say LCA, they return pretty much every player from last years team. This is a team that includes 3 senior DI players and a junior DI player. If they can find solid point guard play they should be a cut above everyone in hte state. Focus should also be a key for them because they were so succesful at a young age.

Their district and region is a strike against them. There is no guarantee they will be in Bowling Green in March.

 

I will go with Iroquois but LCA is a solid pick.

Iroquois is my pick for this year. They had NO seniors last year. They are going to be a FORCE. LCA definitely has a chance. They are returning a lot. My sleeper is coming from the 10th region. Montgomery is going to make a run this year. They have been to the state tourney 4 years in a row and I think they will make it 5 and finally get to the finals. I think that they have 6 or 7 seniors on that team.

Mont Co is always a state power.
