Nice come-from-behind win for Ryle. Down 4-2 in the 5th, the bats come alive and Ryle plates 4 runs. Back-to-back-to-back doubles by Etschied, Carney, and Campbell, followed by singles from Chandler (3 for 3 on night) and Freidel in the inning. Super relief pitching by soph Kyle Donovan, who entered in the 5th inning with sacks full and one out and retires two batters, and then pitches two more scoreless innings.

 

Bad ending for St. H that probably had Coach Terrell a bit frustrated. St. H had runners at 1B & 3B with no outs in top 7th. 3B runner tries to score on passed ball and is out at plate; 2nd out of inning comes on a very close groundout play at 1B; and then final out comes when runner at 3B is picked off by catcher.

Coach Terrell is one of the best coaches around but not much he can this year... Just not the talent pool that they have had in the past

Who pitched for each team?

I thought both of Ryle's pitchers, Sebald and Donovan, both pitched well. When Donavan came in he threw strikes and kept the ball down in the strike zone letting his fielders make plays.
