I noticed the KHSAA lists several teams as non competing teams, such as Clinton Co, Pendleton Co, Gallatin Co, Muhl North, Jackson Co, etc.. Then I see these teams being listed in certain districts.. Can someone explain to me exactly what the term non-compete means and does this mean they can't play in the playoffs and if any of these NC teams are now out of that status? Thanks in advance...

Several of those schools didn't compete in district play in 2006, but I think they all did in 2007. Last year, there were only two such schools, Berea and Evangel Christian in Louisville.

Thanks...I also noticed that Bishop Brossard shows up in 1a in Beechwoods district and they aren't anywhere to be found on the list of teams enrollment. Are they a new school or something? Are there any other teams like that?

Bishop Brossart just started their football program a couple of years ago.
