saint4 Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 Final. Both pitchers pitched excelent games. Mason's pitcher went 7 innings and St. Pat's went 6+.
saint4 Posted April 24, 2008 Author Posted April 24, 2008 Update from last night. Anderson hurt his leg as Richie Cox ran past the bag at first, he was playing first due to arm troubles. Nothing is broken though. A player for St. Pat dislocated his shoulder during an at bat last night as well. St. Pat has 2 players with hurting arms, a player with a dislocated shoulder, a player with a broken hand, and a player with a broken collar bone. They are hurting.

Glad to hear the young man on first was ok. Nothing intentional on Richie's part just running hard. Good luck to the young man. :thumb:

Lights Out 30 Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Who was it that pitched both teams? I was out of town and couldn't be at this one.
mcpapa Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Soph Keegan Burney went the distance for the Royals; freshman Jacob McKay went 6+ for the Royals with Jon Stwarka finishing up and getting out of a 2nd and 3rd, no outs jam. Royals still running into too many outs; although most folks in attendance thought that there was a hinder that wasn't called that could have resulted in another run or two for the Royals. St. Pat played a pretty gutty game. I thought that the key to the game was keeping Stwarka off the bases; I think he was picked off the only time he reached base.
Lights Out 30 Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 I watched Jacob McKay pitch in the Spectrum Grafix Tourny and he looked like he had a lot of potential. He is long and has big hands to grip different pitches.

You know it's too bad that Keegan is moving after this season. He is a fine young man and a good ball player to go along with it.
