Josh Bertke throws a great game ,going the distance .Only threw 67 pitches over 7 innings .1 unearned run ,2 hits and 2 walks ( I think the walks is right ) .

 

CJ Bertke ( distant cousins ) does a great job behind the plate blocking and receiving .

 

Leeke 2-4 ,Pandolidis (sp?) 2 walks and Josh B. lead the way offensively .

 

Knauff pitched pretty good for CCH until he had to be removed after being hit by a linedrive .Hope all is well with him .He was replaced by Wilson then Hamm threw the last 2 innings .

How is he playing baseball already?

He is allowed to hit as of April 2 .He is allowed to begin throwing in therapy starting tomorrow .He is looking at 4 -6 weeks to be released full time .He is recovering quickly and Doc says he may be able to go already ,but they want to stay on a schedule and not rush things .His surgery was Jan. 7 th .Actually had to completely replace the ligament vs a repair of the ligament .
