with 2 out nelson hit a double, pretty deep shot. CF was playing pretty shallow, maybe should of been caught. Then Deming elected to pitch Silver Groves #4 hitter who already had 3 rbi's (Davidson). Davidson then hit a 2 run bomb. Both teams had their share of errors. But Silver Grove came up with the hits when they needed them. Deming scored 4 of their 6 runs on Silver Grove errors. Deming is a very good team. They will win many games this year and surprise some teams. Davidson for the Grove is a top notch pitcher and hitter. Whenever he is on the mound for the Grove they can be dangerous. Big win for the Grove. 2 All A finals in the last 3 years. Not bad for a school who only has 34 males in the entire Hs. Good luck to the Grove in the final.

All games have been rained out today. They will be made up tomorrow night at Pendery Park.

 

The Bishop Brossart vs Calvary Christian semi-final game will be played at 4:30. Following that game the Finals between Silver Grove and the winner of the Brossart/Calvary game will be played at 7:00.

No... The only reason they have been playing there is because of all the rain St. Mary has not been ready and Pendery seems to drain better than any field around. They have been very grateful to get Pendery at this point in the rain with the horrible weather.

Ok, thanks, Lord knows we've had plenty of rain for this baseball season.
