Ryle pretty much took it to CovCath at their place up on the hill. They had great pitching and played flawless. They kept having hit after hit. Ryle finally showed the team they are.

Ryle JV now 5-3, with wins over Dixie (twice), CCH, Brossart, and Boone. Losses to Holy Cross (twice) and a tough Anderson team, all of which were close scores.

You do understand that every single player that played for CovCath varsity tonight sans Niehaus, will be back next year, so I am not really concerned about the Ryle JV team next year. Now if in 2010, and I am lucky enough to be alive, then I will think about it, but indeed that is still two years away.

I think Ryle only loses 5 or 6, not the entire starting line up and 4 pitchers like they did last year. And obviously, plenty of tallent in the well.

It's a shame for the kids that are good soph's and juniors, as in maybe a shade different than the kids playing varsity, have to play JV.
