Final from Mt. Sterling.

The Indians had overall a poor outing at the mound. The Greyhounds scored 7 runs on 1 hit ... with numerous walks.

Justin Martin (Jr.1st varsity start) looked very good for 4 innings, walked the first two batters to start the 5th inning and his work for this game was complete. When he gets use to throwing more innings he'll be fine. I thought Tim Anderson (a soph.and first varsity experience) came in and did a nice job closing Paris out in the last innings. Good experience for both these players. They will be needed down the road.

Middle relief was not so good last night, struggled with control, it’s still early in the season though.

Paris looked to a very young team and if that’s the case will only get better. Good luck to Paris the rest of the year.

The Indians are performing very well at the plate... vs. Paris Ginter went 2-3 with and RBI, Eversole went 2-3, and Potter went 1-3

This is a much closer score than I expected.
