I just heard that Sarah Mitchell had 2 big hits for Mason County and drove in 4 runs. I'm not sure if this is true, just what I heard. And that an error really hurt Mason County at the end. Good pitching by Greenhill.

And Chuck's article says Sarah Mitchell just beat the cover off the ball. I did not get to attend but all the texts I got during the game said the same thing. Glad my Lady Bears came away with a win. But Sarah Mitchell is my kind of ballplayer. And just a great kid to boot. Way to go Sarah !

Agreed. She's finally getting her swing down, and has started off the season very well. If her and Lacey keep it up, they'll make a lethal 3-4 combo!

Yes, this is true. It would also help if Hamilton fell out of her slump. She has been a pretty consistent hitter over the years, but hasn't been able to produce much this year. Her and Greenhill getting on base and producing some hits would definitely help the Lady Royals, especially having 2 great hitters in the 3 and 4 positions to knock them in.

Not to downplay Krista's slump, but Tiara batted leadoff yesterday and got on base all 4 times she came to the plate. Good season debut!
