Jennifer Parsons will be staying at Corbin and not going to Harlan County Central.

Jennifer Parsons will be staying at Corbin and not going to Harlan County Central.

 

This is true! Coach Parsons came and meet with Harlan County officials last Monday and Wednesday. After taking a tour of the new school on Monday and seriously entertaining the coaching change; she decided against it and told Harlan County officials yesterday that she wanted to stay in Corbin.

Loyalty is a nice characteristic to possess....of course my head says if she wants to compete for the 13th region, yea in and year out, it would have been easier at Harlan County. Coach Parsons is a quality person. Good to have her staying in Corbin.

This is great news for the Lady Redhounds and for the kids at Corbin Middle School since she is as good a teacher as she is a coach.:ylsuper:

 

This must have been an extremely tough decision for her to make considering her ties to the Harlan area.
