Brossart's defense also has some improving to do. They are also very young and are not used to playing with each other yet. They do seem to have some talent though. I think they could be a surprise team to do make a good run in their district this season. They always seem to perform well at the right time every year. I don't see why nor do I think that this year will be any exception.

Justin Barth started and pitched 3 innings, Nick Bezold pitched 2 innings and Josh Anderson pitched 2 innings as well.

 

Who looked the most impressive of those three? I feel like Barth could emerge as one of the top three this year...

And when's the next home game, I was going to come out?

 

Don't think so..

 

I heard he hurt his arm pitching last year and the Mustangs pitching coach felt it would be better to have him at second everyday than to miss some of the games due to arm problems.

 

The first home game for the Mustangs is Monday night against Highlands depending on the weather. However they play next friday at the Florence Freedom's Champion Window Field against Holy Cross at 5 o'clock. Should be a good game there.

Cruberg made a tremendous play on a ball Pendleton's shortstop hit though, so second looks like it's working out pretty well
