Mason County Coaching Staff..O'Hearn and all

Coach O'Hearn along with Coaches Moore, Faulkner, Butler with support from Roscoe and Murphy deserve tremendous appreciation for the Royals success this year. The bar was set very high and the Royals responded. Playing the most competitive schedule in school history prepared the Royals for the rigors of Rupp. Also preparing the O'Hearnmen was a coaching staff who demanded hard work, intense defense and unselfish offense It is the adolescent players who perform but it is the coaches who set the tone and develop the strategy and implement the tactics. Each depends upon the other for success or failure.

The Royal coaching team always work as a team and players responded to this example. The Royals are excellent basketball players but even better young men and some of this credit goes as well to the coaches and of course the parents.

Congratulatons to the Royals team and coaches for a tremendous ride and so many thrills this year. Thanks!! You have set a high bar for others to follow. The very best to everyone as your life journey continues.

Have to agree. I really thought the Mason Co. coaching staff did a great job this year. They had a lot of talent and got the most out of it. I heard some rumors of what might happen if O'Hearn didnt win the state, and I couldnt believe what I was hearing with the season he has had. Shame that has to go on, but with so much talent comes so many expectations. Congrats Mason Co. coaches.

Coach O'Hearn has taken ALOT of crap from people, way more than he deserved. It is great to see him stick to his methods and get it done. We are proud of you Coach!

Coach O'Hearn does a fantastic job and he some fine assistants and they deserve a lot of praise from the Mason Co. faithful.

His first coaching job was at Nicholas Co. High School and from what I have been told, he was hired on class above all. Things like that often dont change about a person and I doubt the success he has will effect it either. Congrats to those guys for success and hardwork. Trophies make big targets though
