Real. Guy took an awfully big chance of breaking an ankle/leg if this was staged. Not only that, but darn near could have broken his neck, too.

 

Either way, I think a moderator should suspend the original poster of this thread. Surely there is some rule covering deception/breaking the heart of just about every male BGP member who viewed this thread??? :D
