Can't argue much about the 9th region since they hit the NDA/ Ryle and NCC/Dixie games last night right on the nose.

Three of todays top eight won't see the 9th region tourney. Makes the 33rd, 35th and 36th district tournaments quasi-huge this season, eh?

With Shelby beating Simon Kenton, I would have thought the gap would have narrowed - doesn't make much sense that there wasn't much changed with either of thier rankings.

Also, South Oldham beat Conner by 11 and they have a 86.0 ranking and only moves up 1 pt....

As much as I try to understand the ratings, I still have to wonder if they really mean anything at all. I do not disagreee that the top 4 or 5 teams that are listed in each of the regions (8th & 9th) but I am not sure if the ratings support who is really the better team.
