De'Sarae Chambers a senior at Mason Co High School only needs 11 pts to surpass the career scoring mark of Tennessee Volunteer All -America candidate Chris Lofton to become the all-time leading scorer at Mason Co. High School.

Chambers has already surpassed the career totals of such luminaries as Ronny Lyons and Deron Feldhaus. Now, only Lofton is ahead of her. With 11 more points, Chambers will top Lofton's record of 2,763 career points.

Mason County is scheduled to play Rowan County tonight in Morehead at 8pm.

 

Absolutely a great accomplishment for a fine young lady. The names above are pretty good company to be around as well.

Congrats De'Sarae. Couldn't happen to a better person! She's a great role model on and off the court. I'm glad to hear that she's going to have this major accomplishment, on top of all of her other great accomplishments. She's also been invited to play in the Ohio/Kentucky All-Star game.
