Morgan County 51 Fleming County 40

Featured Replies

Fleming could have had this one. Two starters and 6th man set on bench because of school reasons. Morgan did play well though. Shots were off a little in first have but still managed to get the win.

If Fleming would have had all there players this would have been a totally different ball game

...and Morgan really did not play very well at all as well. Missed a ton of wide open three point shots early and could only muster 5 first quarter points. Shots began to fall after a banked 3 by reserve Jerred Smith. Logan May got a few to fall and Cougars recaptured the lead.

Morgan hopes to get 6'4" Senior Forward Stephen Barnett back sometime this week for either the Elliott or West Carter games. He hasn't played in over two weeks and hopefully can get back to normal shortly.

Ugly performance but a win...already have won more than last season and will continue to improve towards the stretch run.

Fleming plays very very hard and missed three starters but had some kids who competed and have already improved greatly from the previous year.

At Elliott on Monday and at West Carter on the 31st before coming home to entertain the Lion Head sweater of Joe Hampton and the Lewis Co. Lions on Friday night.

2 of they boys were starters...the 3rd kid that didnt get to play was the 6th man, but all 3 were very needed on offence and hugely needed on the boards

Thanks Jolly for the clarification. At any rate, Fleming looks to be a contender for the 61st. Best of luck to the Panthers.

Yeah, and it was completely the kids fault. It would be great to see the Fleming boys make a good decision. Hats off to Frasure for benching them.

Yes it was completely the kids fault..But it wasnt coach frasers decision to bench them although he did support the decision that was made

I assume it was Sorrells decision to bench the players. I was just surprised that Frasure went along with it and supported the decision.
