No that is not a typo. Ryle held Beechwood scoreless in the second half with half court defense and primarily the last 5 off the bench. Is this the direction of Beechwood basketball or has it always been like this? Beechwood kids played hard and never gave up, they just weren't able to even get a shot off.

 

Ryle's Coach has them playing good defense, full and half court.

 

A side note, one of Ryle's starters broke his eye socket against Bishop Brossart and is out until mid to late January.

Wow....Beechwood looks to have turned the corner with the varsity but a 5 point game doesn't look good for the future.
