All the talk about Rodenberg going to Moeller has got me thinking... how do CCH coaches Ray, Rodenberg and Brossart compare? What are the strengths/weaknesses of each? I know it's hard to compare, since Ray was there forever, Rodenberg just a few years, and Brossart only one, but what can you say about them right now???

Coach Ray was there forever

Coach R was there a very years

Coach Brossart was there well one year

How else would you compare them? Wins?State Champs? Tenure?

Personnaly as a Highlands fan, I was more worried when Rodenberg took the helm. Ray was a great coach but I felt his time had come and maybe passed. Rodenberg had an exceptional team in the 2006 team and I would have like to have seen what he could have done with the 2007 team. That would have told me alot about his coaching abilities. Brossart I like. Give him time, be patient, he is going to be a coach that the kids will respond to and respect and he will build a coaching staff around him.

I think you sum it up very well. Coach Ray built the program to what it is today and made Covington Catholic a football name known throughout the commonwealth. I believe Brossart came into a rough situation with the large amount of seniors leaving from the 06 state champs. He has my full support moving forward!
