I talked to alot of Perry Central fans before the season started, and they believed PCC would be better with Hatcher. I'm sorry Hatcher is a good coach but I don't think any coach in the region can do what Coach Holland did there. Yeah, Hatcher is a good coach but PCC just doesn't have the players anymore.

Coaches shouldn't be compared and if you ask them, they feel pressure to succeed but not from a comparison standpoint.

 

Many will want to carry on tradition and success, but never to live up to a previous coach or their accomplishments. Often approaches, philosophies, schemes and the entire program is different. Both Coach Holland and Coach Hatcher, have done extremely well in their coaching profession.

Graves County's gain is PCC' loss. I'm not from Graves but from a neighboring county and had heard alot of disgruntled fans for the past couple of years saying that they were ready for Hatcher to move on. Yes he was very successful, but there were alot of things going on behind the scenes that they were ready to part with and have a new start. One of the main things I'd heard was Graves fans were bored to death with his style of play and from what I've read on this web site it seems as if some of PCC's fan base may already be feeling the same way.

Id say if Holland was still at PCC they sure wouldnt be 2-7 right now. I think this move is starting to back fire on who ever was responsible for getting rid of Holland. "THE GRASS IS NOT ALWAYS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE"
