The "cardiac kids" are at it again. After defeating Montgomery County Saturday 51-50 in an overtime squeaker the Lady Bulldogs captured another overtime thriller last night over Henry Clay. Henry Clay's Brittany Coles hit a free throw with one second left in regulation to knot the score at 43-43 and force overtime. Coles gave the Lady Blue Devils a 47-45 lead late in the overtime period but Dunbar's Chelsey Johnson nailed a three point basket with less than 30 seconds remaining to give Dunbar a 48-47 lead. Henry Clay had a good look at the basket in the final second but missed the shot and Dunbar comes away with the victory.

Chantelle Pressley and Chelsey Johnson led the victors with 14 and 13 points respectively. Hanna Blankenship, Raven Price, and Gwen Rucker led Henry Clay with 13, 12, and 10 points respectively. I also had Rucker with 12 rebounds.

Henry Clay 10 15 2 16 4 --47

Dunbar 7 14 13 9 5 --48

Congrats to Coach Sowers and the Lady Dawgs.
