You might be sandbagging a little. :D Franklin Co. is extremely talented this year and haven't been beaten yet. Woodford also to WH to the wire last night.

I Think you better take a look at Franklin County this year. They are not that bad of a team. They could be a sleeper.

No sandbagging here.

Facts are that Western Hills returns their two leading scorers from last year, both all county selections, Van and Hyatt. They have the best big man in Frankfort in Mike Satterwhite, and they have Super Soph JT Riddle who is the best soph in Frankfort. Word from the coaches at Western Hills Riddle is the best overall player on Western Hill's team.

No other team in the district can match the resume that Western Hills has. They should, on paper, walk through the district. They are no question the favorite.

I hope they do, but I think if you ask most people they have Franklin County as their pick. Western Hills lost a cllose one to Anderson Co. last night and in overtime to shelby last week. Franklin Co. is still undefeated. But I think we will all agree this will be a very competitive district.

They only only won by 6, that doesn't seem head and shoulders above their district opponents ( I know point differential doesn't always matter.) I wasn't at the game but it seems like it was pretty close

The game was very close. WH got up by 14 and Woodofrd cut it to 4 in the closing minutes. Western Hills will have to work extremely hard to comptete in this district. Franklin Co. has good shooting (Meyer and Hall) and a 6'7 transfer from Lexington Catholic (Donovan), a fast point guard (Hicks) and some very good players to compliment them as well as a deep bench. Woodford has everyone back and a 6'6 transfer from Indiana. Frankfort is really fast and has a ton of heart and as soon as they get some practice time (after football) they will be tough.
