Just talked to a Southern assistant, he said Southern scored first, then things went downhill from there.

Fern Creek did not abandon is junkyard defense however, on big stops I saw a bunch in the box and that is not something I have seen previously, they were more unified on D than I have seen them since the preseason.

 

Two scores came against FC's JV late in the game, it could have easily been 54(or more)-7 had Higgins not let up...FC's 2nd String offense and QB had no troubling getting a score late in the game...

 

Fern Creek is more than capable of giving Male a game...if everyone shows up Friday night with their A Game things could get interesting..
