Can someone enlighten me about the 1st Annual Battle of the Border Bowl scheduled for January 12, 2008? I heard that they are putting together 2 teams, one from KY and the other TN to highlight E.KY & E.TN senior talent. The game is scheduled for the U. of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg. If this is true why are they playing in January and what constitutes a players eligibility to play?

The reason I'd like to know is that I know of a kid who wants to continue on his career in football and it is a good opportunity to showcase his game but he also plays basketball and does that violate any KHSAA rules concerning seasons?
