Every district in class 6A has completed their district games. Every Districts pairings have been posted on the KHSAA web-site accept District #6. I realize this is because there is a three (3) way tie for second place in that district. But what is the tie-Breaker? Does anybody know? I looked on the KHSAA web-site and couldn't find it.

Each team takes the number of wins that any four of their opponents have earned. These are added and used as a "point total" for the purpose of breaking the tie. Games involving one of the tied teams do not count.

Okay, I remember the tie-breaker now. You get one point for every win of the opponents you beat on your schedule. Therefore the games this weekend do mean something, but it's more for 3rd and 4th place. Right?

You've almost got it. I assume you read the explanation above.

 

All three positions are still up for grabs. Simon Kenton could end up 3rd or 4th. Campbell County and Ryle could end up just about anywhere in the mix.
