Who Wins Class 4A District 8?

Featured Replies

Wow! One cannot say that this district doesn't have parity:

Greenup County 1-4, 1-0 in district (Win vs. Rowan County)

Lawrence County 1-5, 1-0 in district (Win vs. Boyd County)

Rowan County 1-4, 0-1 in district

Boyd County 0-6, 0-1 in district

Yes, this district is a combined 3-19, with a stifling record or 1-19 in non-district play. Has there ever been 4 teams from the same district make the playoffs when they ALL have losing records?

Did 7 and 8 districts not play under the old format? If so then Bell County's district winner....and I believe Bell could clinch with a win over Madison Southern this Friday night..... would have met the winner of THIS district in the regionals. Instead, I believe, that it will be the #1 and #2 ranked teams in 4-A meeting in the regional.....only one going on to the semi-finals!??
