Mayfield played a near flawless 1st half, scoring on 5 posessions...Luke Guhy, the freshman QB was 6-7 for 140+ yds passing and a TD in the 1st half. The Cards racked up over 300 1st half yards to 38 for Crittenden. The 2nd half wasn't near as flawless as the Cards fumbled the ball 3 or 4 times and lost them all...Crittenden scored with about a minute to go in the 3rd qtr and then tacked on another with about 3-4 minutes to go in the game against the JV unit..Crittenden actually played very inspired football in the 2nd half and kept playing hard throughout the game, unfortunately, it was too little, too late and a class move on Coach Morris part to not run up the score...
