Campbell Co had the upper hand on the "unsportsman like" penalties last night not Conner.

CC players were running their mouths on every play. Conner should learn to ignore it.

 

 

I think you have some of this backwards. This was a case of the second guy always gets caught. It was not the Camels running of the mouth first.

well I know what I saw......and I saw the zebras talking to the Camels way more than they were talking to the Cougars when a flag was thrown.......and by the looks of the body language they weren't talking about eating wings at BWs after the game....

Were you on the field to hear what was being said by the officials or the players to each other? Just wondering.

 

Very good game by the Camels can't wait to see what they do against Mason County.

and like I said......in response to "stayinline" Campbell Co was penalized the most for unsportsmanlike conduct so one would think CC has the problem not Conner....

 

and as another person said in this thread Coach Trosper will not put up with it from his players.....plain and simple...

Does anyone have the stats for the game. My take is Conner really had the personal fouls and Campbell seem to be in response but both had calls against them. There was a sequence where Conner had fouls one after another.

I wasn't there and I haven't seen the film. But officials have a saying: "it takes two to tango".

 

Sometimes officials will catch the initiator of unsportsmanlike condiuct or a personal foul, and sometimes we catch the retaliator.

 

We don't really care who "started it". Coaches and fans don't generally like that explaination, but that's the way it is.

I can't remember all of the personal fouls called but the 3 I know of for Campbell County was:

 

1 - was on an offensive lineman who pulled a guy off the pile after a running play and he used some extra "force" to pull him off. This was late into the 3rd quarter or early 4th.

 

2 - roughing the QB in the 4th which was very questionable. Like someone already said on here. It was mostly 2 CC players running into each other.

 

3 - one on the CC sidelines because of a coach yealling that it was a ball call relating to the above mentioned personal foul.
