Stan is Mister Positive. He is the John Wooden of announcers. Part John Ward and part Cawood Ledford with some Harry Carey mixed in for good measure for spice. It is not a job with Stan it is a Life. He wears Orange Colored glasses and always finds the best in all the Jacket endeavors regardless of the score. When the Hounds are rolling like they are with ease tonight, Bubba tunes into Stan the Man Lovitt for some high quality Friday evening entertainment.

Stan has a heart of Gold. Although it maybe tinted with Orange.

 

He arrives hours before each game and researches the teams, no matter who he is covering. He came back to the Burg and started covering the Jackets when the other folks jumped ship and started the relationship with the Red Storm. He is a true Jacket at heart and does not hide it. Nothing more, nothing less. He has remained loyal to his school. Bubba admires that in a person.

He is very loyal and professional.....MOST of the time. Sometimes he gets excited and is extremely hard to follow. (Homers out a lot, but it is his team, so let him go on if it makes him happy.)
