Clark Co. Cards traveled west to take on the Bryan Station Defenders. The Cards win 3-2 in a pitchers dual, and a game where both teams played good defense. Clark Co. 2007 record is now 27-3.

Clark Co. traveled to Lexington tonight to battle 11th region opponent,

Bryan Station. Clark won a very well played contest 3-2. Both teams

battled hard, had good pitching, and made the good defensive stops.

 

Senior right hander Timmy Duvall started the game for Clark, and went four

complete innings. The score was 3-1 in the fifth when junior Evan Bennett

made the move from short to pitcher. Bryan Station battled back to score

another run in the 6th. Bennett finished the game at pitcher to preserve

the lead and the save. Jordan Barker went the distance behind the plate.

 

Final home game and Senior night for Clark Friday 5:00pm, at Cardinal Field vs the top team in the 16th region, 25-8, Rowan Co. Vikings. Keep up the good work guys.:ylsuper:
