The Wildcats did something last night that they haven't done all year. Won a game at home. It was timely hitting and a lot of it as the Wildcats beat the Carroll County Panthers by an 8-5 final. The Wildcats pounded 15 hits in the contest. Trent Maddox came on in relief of Josh Giles in the 3rd inning and went the rest of the way striking out a season best 6 Panthers. J.R. Davis gave the Wildcats the lead with a double in the 4th inning capping off a 3-4 night for himself. Zac Jones was named the Hometown Pizza Star of the Game for his 4-4 night. He along with Cody Perkins had a total of 7 hits to the opposite field.
