HHS 13 Lloyd 7 JV

HHS won 13-7. HHS had everything going right for them today. A few timely extra base hits and several SUCCESSFUL bunts:thumb: to move runners was the theme of the day. Good starting piching again, solid defense and aggressive base running sealed this one for the Birds. Well done coaches and players!

Great to hear! What's their record look like so far?

They are 8 - 8 but could easily be 10 - 6 or even 11 - 5. Had a few games that could have gone either way and a couple that were lost on some mental and physical errors. Really no games that they should have lost that they won so all in all pretty good season so far. Coaches are doing a great job of keeping kids involved and into games. Headed in the right direction.:thumb:

Your so right tdyballgame. I can only think of one or two games that this team was simply not as good as the other team. It's nice to see the coaches are not all caught up in winning as much as they are developing players for the next level. As coach says "development, development, development".
