This may be old news

Mark Sander, DeSales High School head coach, is coaching linebackers with the Cologne Centurions of the NFL Europa league. Way to go Mark! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Here is what his profile says:

Mark Sander

Defensive Assistant/Linebackers

Former NFL linebacker Mark Sander joins the Cologne Centurions for the 2007 campaign as a participant in the NFL Europa Coaching Program.

Sander, who boasts professional experience with the Miami Dolphins (1991-93) and Scottish Claymores (1995-96) takes up the post while on temporary leave from his position as head coach and athletics director at DeSales High School in Kentucky. Won a World Bowl ring in his second season in NFL Europa with the Claymores.

During his college career at Louisville, and prior to his three seasons as a Dolphin, Sander set school records by registering 488 tackles.

Sander also spent two years as an assistant coach at Florida Atlantic before hooking up with DeSales High School, his alma mater.

Sidenote Ron Hudson, former Kentucky Wildcats OC is coaching in NFLE also.

Should give them a definite advantage this year in the newly aligned district.

I will likely go see some of their games given the chance. Go Colts!
