Somerset should run thru their district and Breathitt will be probably be their main competition in the region.

 

 

District 5 plays District 8 (Belfry, East Ridge, Magoffin County, Pike Central and Sheldon Clark) next year in the rotating regional formation that is by far, in my opinion, the worst part of the new alignment.

Russell and Belfry look to be the best in 7 & 8 and I expect the eastern champ to be one of those two teams.

 

 

District 8 plays 5 and 6 plays 7.

Like I've said, the confusion will hurt high school football.
