Just wondering how Walt Allen is doing in college...I seem to remember he was going to play at a religion affiliated college down South...Anyone from South or North Laurel have any information...What a fine player he was, but better yet what a fine young man he was with the way he carried himself.

He is playing for Presbyterian College.

Scarface, I had to type it in - hopefully this will be a direct link.

It looks like he only played in 14 games. Does anyone know if he was injured - or just a frosh trying to earn some PT?

I actually talked to Walt Friday at te 13th Region girls semifinals at Corbin High School. I was covering the game on press row and someone tapped me on the shoulder and scared me to death and it was Walt.

I'm glad to say Walt is doing fine and liking it at Presbytyrian College. He told me he liked his first year there and really fitted in.

Walt is still the class-act guy like he has always been and he said he was going to watch the two semifinal boys gams at Corbin tonight and the finals tommorrow.
