Southwestern wins their second straight 48th District Championship.

Last season, they won their tournament which was hosted on their home floor. This year, they beat Wayne on the Cardinal's home floor to win again. Next year, the district moves on to McCreary Central!

Notes:

Senior Jon Edwards led Southwestern with 13 points, and the Warriors forced a turnover with less than 5 seconds left to deny host Wayne County the chance for a game-winning shot.

Congrats to Coach Schulz and the Warriors.

This was a reply of the McCreary/ Wayne game, except there was no putback by Wayne at the end to send the game to overtime.
