At the 29th district tourney, the announcer informed the crowd that signs (to be held) and flags are not permitted. He quoted some "official rule" from somewhere. Signs were confiscated for one team in particular.

 

The next night, the home team brings towels to twirl over their head and this is permissible.

 

This seems like a double standard to me. Am I looking at it wrong? Are other districts doing the same thing?

Signs and Banners, are usually voted on by the participating District teams and discussed, during pre-tournament meeting.
