Whitley got back-to-back threes to go up 41-37 midway through the fourth, and played poised the rest of the way to keep Corbin at bay. Corbin had a chance to tie it in the closing seconds, but Champlin inexplicably drove the lane instead of taking a game-tying three.

Brimm - 14 (12 in the second half after a rough first half, including two key baskets late in the game. She really provided her team an emotional lift)

Brimm took over the game in the last 10 minutes. She blocked or altered about half of Corbin's shots during that time period. McCullah was her regular self with 17. She always seems to make big plays. Corbin played their hearts out but Whitley's size and numbers caught up with them. Brittney Jackson will be missed for the Hounds and I believe will make someone a nice player at the next level.
