Nearly a huge upset in the 8th District first round.

Hoptown had to make 2 free throws with 4 seconds remaining just to send it to OT.

FC has better athletes and more quickness than Hopkinsville. They utilized that on offense by spreading and driving. On defense they played zone on the poor shooting Tigers. FC had no answer for Antwain Loving and freshmen standout Darnell Davis. Rogers for FC did a good job at creating his own shot and finding others when the trap came.

 

Neither Coach was pleased with the mediocre officiating in the 2nd half. Twice even the refs were confused. In the end Hopkinsville found a way to survive and that's what the post season is all about.
