Ludlow walked into a buzz saw last night, this Walton team was on a mission with it being senior night and seven seniors on this team there was no way they were walking out of the gym with a loss. Roberts for Walton came to play with 24 points and about 15 rebounds. He did not even play the second quarter and only about a minute in the fourth. All seven seniors entered the scoring column with each scoring more then once. Hope this gives the boys some momentum going into districts.:dancingpa

Walton did look like they wanted to play last night. Roberts was the old Roberts from awhile ago. Running the floor , rebounding , stealing the ball and scoring, and the best part of it was I don't think he was in foul trouble at all. Lynn played very well shot was good some very nice passes , Sartwell and Ceceil played hard and were all over the floor . Sommers took care of the ball and Zwick had some good minutes. Daugherty had a sub power game but he didn't have to score last night , he did play very well when he was in , didn't try to force the shot but kicked it out and the team responded. Hope this will bring all the seniors together for the end of the season.

Don't want to forget the juniors & sophmores. Ponzer , Jones , Kirk , Martin , Hopperton , Harper ,Palmer all have and do contribute to Walton. Ponzer can be a player when he wants , Jones defense has greatly improved, and Kirk is being to bang with the big boys greaat job boys you'll be fun to watch next year .

walton looked amazing last night. The boys played very hard. Roberts was the player of old. Good to see him get going towards the end of the season. Sartwell has been getting some solid min here lately. Good to see coach Bennett using the whole team. The refs were lettingthe boys play.... I am glad to see that. Hope Walton can end the year on a positive note against Carroll on Friday. Districts start next with a rivalry game against Grant. Should be a good game considering Grant has been to almost every Walton game this year scouting. Good luck boys
