Final...GREAT game...although Grant Co. did not come out on top in this one, I must say that they have come a long way in recent years. So far this year they are 18-8...to put in perspective, here are previous years records I checked out on the KHSAA site:

 

12-16 for 2005-06 (made it to regionals for the first time in MANY years)

15-10 for 2004-05

3-23 for 2003-04

1-24 for 2002-03

2-24 for 2001-02

2-26 for 2000-01

 

The gals at Grant have much to be proud of & Coach Richey has done something special in a very short time.

 

Congratulations to both teams on a great contest!

Congrats to Carroll and Grant both have had great years. Grant needs to up the competition in order to compete in the region. Coach Richey has brought them to great hieghts in a short period of time, hopefully he will continue to improve on this teams success and take them to the new level.

Grant Cty is pushing hard to "take it to the next level"...were within a basket of winning this game Wed night w/Carroll Cty...look what Carroll did to Walton the next night.
