Walton-Verona vs. Owen Co.

Featured Replies

A few observations from last nights game. 1. WV was absolutely not ready to play. Don't get me wrong, Owen Co. has a nice team however the first half Walton basically walked around and got nothing done. 2. Even though Neeley scored 25+, Owen County sometimes forgets who their best player is. If Neeley doesn't touch it at least once everytime down the floor then somethings wrong. 3. It might have been the worst officiated basketball game that i've seen in a long time. They let the game get out of control during the first quarter and never could get it back under control. And the officiating was terrible for both teams!

Officiating was bad.. But had nothing to do with the outcome of the game.. And Walton still shouldn't have let themselves get down by 24... If that wouldnt have happened then it would have been a much better game.. Oh.. and about the neele touching the ball thing.. Did you notice that the two minutes he was out of the game their lead went from 18 to 8 and as soon as he came back in it never went lower.. this team would be nothing without him..
