BluegrassPreps High School Football Weather Forecast for 10/30/26

Featured Replies

It appears we could have a pretty nice Friday night for football across Kentucky.

The weather has been quiet lately, and warm temps are forecast for the rest of the week. Lexington is expected to be around 77 degrees Friday with mostly sunny skies during the day. Western and central Kentucky could approach 80.

Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky are looking pretty good for Friday night. The forecast calls for a high near 77 degrees in Covington, with mostly sunny skies. Temperatures should fall into the 60s around kickoff and continue dropping through the evening. The chance of rain is very low, so conditions look good for football.

Eastern Kentucky is looking good, too. Ashland, Pikeville, Hazard, and Jackson are expected to see highs in the mid-70s Friday. It should be a comfortable afternoon, with temperatures cooling off once the sun sets. Rain doesn't look like a big concern for Friday right now, although the forecast could change as we get closer to the weekend.

The bigger thing to watch is rain. Right now, the better chance for showers looks to come later in the weekend, but we'll need to see how that timing plays out as Friday gets closer.

I'll be watching the rain chances as we get closer to Friday. Forecasts can change, so this is still an early look rather than a final call.
