Glasgow travels to Franklin for the second year in a row after moving the game their last year after a week of heavy rain they wanted their grass field to be able to host a couple playoff games. Glasgow has been very effective on offense this year at times scoring at will but has struggled against the run of teams that have been strong linemen.

Franklin comes into this game suffering one of their worst seasons I can remember and won’t be participating in the playoffs also for the first time in a long time. This was a heck of a game last year with FS leading the whole game and Glasgow storming back halfway through the fourth quarter and tying it up and then winning in double overtime.

Final game of the season for Franklin Simpson as they did not qualify for the playoffs this season, so expect them to empty the tank and do everything possible to try and end the season with a victory.

I know very little about FS other than the obvious fact that they’re down this year. Why is this? Are they really young? Is it a lack of talent? Coaching? Very rare to see them sitting at 3-6 and not making the playoffs. With that being said though, they could give Glasgow some fits the way they’re able to run the ball at times. However, I think the Scotties are just too much in this one.

FS has some good young pieces, but it won't be enough to beat the Scotties in this one. Glasgow will end the year 9-1, praying the RPI holds them exactly where they are currently, to get that potential 3rd round rematch with Larue Co.

I agree that would be best case scenario but I think in order for that to happen Lex. Catholic would need to lose to Ashland. I think that is possible but maybe not likely it’s a shame that 3A has become the Class you just try to avoid CAL as long as possible. I will be glad to see them move up next year I think it will help 3A and 4A be more competitive classes.
