Conner 2 Simon Kenton 1

His was a first for me…

Conner takes advantage of a handball call in the box early in the game to take a 1-0 lead. About 6 minutes later Conner is called for a handball in the box and Simon Kenton converts. 1-1 which would last us until half. Not many good opportunities were generated in the 1st half.

Second half was back and forth, not a lot of possession by either team. Simon Kenton had that the scored if I remember correctly off a corner. The Conner keeper bobbled the ball, but in the end I believe Simon Kenton was called for bumping into him and the goal Wes denied…to the disbelief of the Simon Kenton fans. With about 1:38 seconds remaining, Conner is attacking and another handball is called. Conner converts to go up 2-1 and holds on for the win.

first time for me seeing all the goals be scored off called handballs in the box…3 of them.
