The Bulldogs had a 9-1 regular season last year with a 21-0 loss to North Laurel, and then finished out the season at 11-2 with a 16-6 loss to Bell County in the 3A quarterfinals.

Coach Short needs to replace senior quarterback Luke Fetherholf who was 125-167 (74.8%) passing for 2350 yards and 29 touchdowns with 7 interceptions, and rushed for another 641 yards and 7 touchdowns, but the Bulldogs return all the rest of their offensive backfield production, which accounts for 2072 yards of rushing production and 27 touchdowns, plus they return all but one of their receivers, accounting for 2237 yards and 30 touchdowns.

Their 2025 roster was only 44 players deep, but they only graduated a total of 5 seniors this past May, leaving a lot of promise for the Bulldogs in 2026.
