A new era begins for Thomas Nelson Generals Basketball! ?

Thomas Nelson High School welcomes back one of its own as the new head coach of the Generals...Braden Smith!

A 2022 graduate of Thomas Nelson, Coach Smith was a four-year starter for the Generals and left his mark on the program as a member of the school’s prestigious 1,000 Point Club. His passion, leadership, and dedication on the court made him a standout player throughout his high school career.

After graduation, Smith continued his basketball journey at Campbellsville-Harrodsburg, further developing his knowledge and love for the game.

Last season, he returned home to join the Thomas Nelson boys basketball coaching staff under Head Coach Maze Stallworth. Now, following Coach Stallworth’s departure to become the head girls basketball coach at Taylor County High School, Coach Smith is ready to lead the Generals program into its next chapter.
