Headlines

โ˜˜๏ธ | Trinity's aces were at the peak of their collective powers in consecutive shutout wins over Floyd Central (IN), #20 North Oldham, and Providence (IN). Gray Davis went the distance against NO, allowing five hits, while Grayson Willoughby and Konnor Stargel combined for eleven no-hit innings against the two Indiana schools.

๐ŸŽ | North Oldham bounced back from the trouncing from T with a 9-3 win over St. X last night. The X-Menโ€™s gauntlet schedule is beginning to take a toll on their loss column, with five defeats in the last eight games.

X | The week was not a total wash for the Tigers. Ryan Holmes threw a complete game one-hitter in a victory over #25 Bullitt East and Colton Zuege allowed zero earned runs across six innings to beat #5 McCracken County in one of the week's marquee games.

๐Ÿ”ฑ | Henry Clay forced its way back into the rankings after a highly productive trip to WKY. The Blue Devils traveled to McCracken County for the Mustang Classic where they opened with a win over Graves County before impressive back to back takedowns of the host Mustangs and St. X. That's two wins over Top 5 teams in one day.

๐Ÿ‘พ | Logan Johnson made his case for pitcher of the week by throwing five no-hit innings to help power #8 Bowling Green past #19 Greenwood before hurling a complete game shutout against South Warren five days later.

๐Ÿน | Madison Central handled Boyle County in โ€˜Title Town', 12-4, in a matchup of ranked teams. The Indians roughed up Rebel starter Andrew Holder for seven earned runs over five innings. The loss was Boyleโ€™s first at home in over a year.

โš”๏ธ | The Indiansโ€™ bats were muted the following night by Sayreโ€™s arsenal of arms. Five Spartan pitchers combined to allow six hits and one earned run over seven innings to beat Madison Central, 2-1.

๐Ÿ‡พ๐Ÿ‡ช | Whitley County got back to back complete game gems from Ethan Allen and Luke Hillard to sweep a pair of district games from rival Corbin. Allen allowed one earned run over seven innings against the Hounds, while Hillard was nearly unhittable, allowing just a single base hit.

๐Ÿ’ฃ | Cody Pendleton and Dylan Hornback both went yard in #17 North Bullittโ€™s 6-3 win over #25 Bullitt East.
