Lexington Catholic names Brian Carmer head girls basketball coach

We're excited to introduce Brian Carmer as our new Head Girls Basketball coach. Brian Carmer comes to Lexington Catholic with nearly 30 years of high school basketball coaching experience.

Most recently he served as head coach at St. Margaret’s Episcopal School in Southern California, compiling a 130–63 record over 8 seasons, including multiple league championships and consistent playoff success. Prior to St. Margaret’s, Coach Carmer spent 18 years at Santa Margarita Catholic High School, the last 9 as Associate Head Coach, contributing to two CIF Championship teams and coaching dozens of players that moved on to play at the Collegiate level.

Coach Carmer also brings nearly 30 years of high school classroom teaching experience and currently teaches in the Business Department at Lexington Catholic. He is known for his emphasis on player development, accountability, and fostering a strong team-first culture.
