9th Region Girls Basketball Champions by District

The Double Deuce
in KY Girls Basketball (High School)

Featured Replies

Since we know the 35th will have the 9th Region Champ in 2026, either Notre Dame or Holy Cross, a conversation yesterday came up about district winners...and just how dominant the 33rd has been since 1999.  Here are the winners, since 1999, including the 35th winning this year:

*  33rd:  13 times (Boone 5x, Cooper 4x, Ryle 3x, and Conner 1x)

*  35th:  8 times (Holmes 4x, Notre Dame 2x (+ maybe this year), Holy Cross 1x (+ maybe this year))

*  36th:  6 times (NewCath 4x and Highlands 2x)

*  34th:  1 time (Dixie 1x)
