This was a really fun game and Avery Thompson put PT on his back and led them with 31 points. In the end Miles Woodfork was the best player on the floor. Woodfork finished with 34 and put the game away with 2 steals leading to transition buckets at the end of the game. I know it’s been said a couple times on here but this PT team is significantly better than they were earlier in the year. Congrats Mustangs! The future is bright for Coach Davis and PT.

Great analysis!  Yes - this game was much closer than the final margin.  PT had the ball down 3 in the final minute.  Two costly turnovers on inbounds plays and that’s why they lost by 9.
Both Thompson and Woodfork put on a show!

Definitely not a 9 point game. It was a one possession game until the end. If Thompson plays like that then they can beat anyone in the region. He was a one man show last night. Him and Woodfork were definitely dueling last night. Great game. The 1st Region tournament should be a good one, 7 of the 8 teams in it are solid teams.
